Biography of Guest
A British Labour Co-operative politian, who has been the Menmber of Parliment of the London constituency of Walthamstow since the 2010 general election.
Her mother, Corinna Frances Avril, is a head-teacher at a specila needs school, and her father, Philip Charles Creasy, is a trained opera singer.
She failed the eleven-plus exams, however, moving from Sutton Coldfield - where she was born - to Colchester gave her a second chance.
She attended Magdalene college, Cmabridge, where she studied Social and Political sciences before pursuing postgraduate studies at London school of Economics.
She started workingas a Parliment researcher in 2006, and completed her thesis entitled 'Understanding the Lifeworld of Social Exclusion', recieving a doctorate in social psychology from the University of London. She also recieved the Richard Titmuss Award for her thesis.
She recieved Twitter threats in 2013.
She leads campaigns on tackling legal loan sharking, online harassment, housing and public dedt management.
She is on the Science and Technology select committe and working on campaigns around PFI, housing, womens equality and tackling Islamophobia.
She loves to win at pub quizes, listens to Indie music and taste test the good food of Walthamstow.
